Your adventure begins in the evening with hotel pickup and a comfortable drive through the desert to the foot of Mount Sinai. Under the stars, you’ll start a guided trek along ancient paths once walked by pilgrims for centuries. The ascent unfolds quietly through the night, allowing time for reflection as the mountain slowly rises around you.

Reaching the summit before dawn is a reward in itself. As the sun breaks over the rugged peaks, the entire Sinai range glows with warm colors, creating a moment of calm, awe, and meaning. Whether you choose to pray, meditate, or simply take photos, the sunrise from Mount Sinai is unforgettable.

After descending the mountain, enjoy a short rest before visiting St Catherine’s Monastery, one of the oldest active Christian monasteries in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its ancient courtyard, sacred church, and priceless manuscripts that connect Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

This experience involves long travel hours and overnight trekking, so it is not recommended for elderly guests or those with breathing or bone-related conditions. The total duration is around 16–17 hours and may increase due to security checkpoints on the route. Camel rides are available only at the beginning of the ascent, up to the point of the 750 steps. Beyond this point, the climb must be completed on foot, and camel riding is generally not advised by the operator. Breakfast boxes must be arranged with your hotel in advance and collected before departure. St Catherine’s Monastery is closed on Sundays and specific Christian holidays, with dates subject to change. Please note that the main tour guide accompanies the group until the base area. The mountain trek itself is led by a licensed Bedouin guide for safety and navigation.
